TOUCH WOOD MEMORIAL RINGS

Your memorial ring is created with deepest respect for the life being honoured. We create wearable works of art reminiscent of the Victorian era when mourning jewelry was popular.

Our Mourning Jewelry is lovingly and meticulously handcrafted by David Finch; pioneer of the bent wood ring.

Memorial rings, pins and pendants are inlaid with cremated ash and can be made in memory of a person or a companion animal.

HOW DOES THIS WORK

Make yourself a cup of whatever comforts you. Think about the person or pet you want to keep close .

Your cuppa comfort

You might ponder trees that evoke good memories.

Was there a particular type of wood they loved, or a tree you love that reminds you of them?

Think about colors in nature that you like to have near you. Some people include dried flower petals with the ashes, or a special shell or stone, or a few strands of hair or fur.

There are lots of possibilities. We are open to your ideas and welcome your questions.

Browse our primary website Touch Wood Rings for design ideas and wood choices.

David and I live off grid on 48 acres in the Central Interior of British Columbia. We're west of Williams Lake in the Chilcotin Forest. We gratefully acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional and unceded territory of the Tsilhqot'in people. David and I are committed to gently stewarding this land and all it’s inhabitants for the whisker of time we are here.

Bears and coyotes, foxes and lynx, moose, deer and rabbits and a great variety of birds and bugs and wildflowers share their home with us here on the Chilcotin plateau.

We live a slower life by necessity and by design. If you'd like to know more, we're not hard to find. We've been online since 1999. There's the requisite about us page, our old Homestone Blog with lots of photos, and you can find us on Facebook and Instagram at Touch Wood Rings and Memorial Rings

The gate's open, the kettle's always on.

We look forward to talking with you, and we would be honoured to work with you.
